Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ply Collective(“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal data when you use this website and join our waitlist or contact us. We handle personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (the “PDPA”).
What we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Waitlist: your email address and whether you signed up as a customer or a merchant.
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), and the message you send us.
- Merchant applications: if you later apply to become a verified merchant, we may collect your business verification details — such as your ACRA/UEN business registration information, which you may choose to share with us via Myinfo Business — and photos of your workspace. Please only include photos you have the right to share, and avoid capturing other identifiable people without their consent.
- Automatically: basic technical information such as your IP address, used only to keep the site secure and prevent abuse of our forms.
Why we collect it
We use your personal data only to:
- notify you about our launch and early-access invitations (if you joined the waitlist);
- respond to your enquiries (if you contacted us);
- verify merchant applicants and prepare their shops for launch;
- protect the website and prevent spam and abuse.
We will not use your data for any unrelated purpose without first obtaining your consent.
Consent
By submitting your details through our forms, you consent to us collecting, using, and disclosing your personal data for the purposes set out above. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer (see below); we will action reasonable requests, though doing so may mean we can no longer keep you on the waitlist or respond to you.
Marketing communications
If you join the waitlist, we may email you about our launch and related updates. Any marketing email we send will include a way to unsubscribe, and you can opt out at any time. We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
How we store and protect your data
Your data is stored securely in secure Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centres located in Singapore (the AWS ap-southeast-1 region). We apply reasonable security measures — including access controls and encryption in transit — to protect it against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take our responsibilities seriously.
Where your data is stored or processed outside Singapore, we take steps to ensure it receives a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA.
How long we keep it
We keep your personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, or to meet our legal and business obligations. Once it is no longer needed — for example, if you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it — we securely dispose of it.
Your rights
Under the PDPA, you may:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct any inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Withdraw consent or ask us to delete your data.
To make a request, email our Data Protection Officer below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Cookies
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. If we introduce analytics or other cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
